We had a great day in the park today! At 10:00 AM I strolled through the Farmer's Market at Grant Park like a pied piper with an accordion, telling people about the great Sing-A-Long! Folks brought their kids and soon we had a crowd of about 20 people all sitting in the shade, singing about slippery fish, frogs that go deedle-eedle-ee and the Big Red Bus. To top it off, a Chinese Documentary Filmcrew caught the whole thing!
I hope you'll join us next week at 10 AM. Bring your little ones, and if you have no little ones, come and have some fun!
In other news, I've been introduced to a great graphic about piano lessons called "This Is Your Brain on Piano." If you teach piano, or if you need a reminder about how important it is to take music lessons, I can't think of a better piece that sums it all up. Here's the link: http://www.encoremusiclessons.com/lessons/piano#infographic_piano_lessons_are_good_for_you_and_your_brain
I'd love to know what you think about it. My favorite is the percentage of CEO's that took piano lessons!
